In this episode of FOCUS Talks, Ahmet Schaefer shared the most delicate parts of the achievements that they reached with Clermont Foot 63 and Austria Lustenau.
Ahmet Schaefer is the founder and CEO of Core Sports Capital where they manage Clermont Foot 63 in Ligue 1, and Austria Lustenau in the Austrian Bundesliga. Although it has not been long since Core Sports Capital entered the football market, they have already attracted attention with the successes of both clubs. Under his management, CF63 could achieve to promote to the Ligue 1 for the first time in their history, and Austria Lustenau had the same achievement after decades.
Ahmet began his professional career with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) as an associate in the office of the FIFA President. In 2011, Ahmet worked with the global sports media and marketing agency MP & Silva. As Vice President of Acquisitions and Strategic Partnerships, Ahmet led the implementation of the international acquisition strategy and the exploitation of high-level sports rights. In 2015, Ahmet led a major project by co-creating the AGCFF (Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation), bringing together the eight football federations in the Persian Gulf.
CORE Sports Capital are co-owners of the Austrian Bundesliga club SC Austria Lustenau (25% stake) and the Swiss Promotion League Club FC Biel-Bienne 1896 (33% stake). In both clubs, CSC advise and support sporting and strategic matters. 🔎 About Core Sports Capital
